(San Diego, CA) – Non-profit research and policy organization Equinox Center continues
its rapid forward momentum through the appointment of Trevor Callan, co-founder
of La Jolla-based wealth management firm Callan Capital, as chairman of its
board of directors, and the addition of two new board members: Robert Bingham
and Charles Butler. Equinox has also garnered several new funders recently.

The National City Chamber of Commerce has launched a
program to help local businesses employ more sustainable practices and to show
them that there is “green to earn, not burn.”
In the long term, the Chamber’s Green Business Program is
intended foster a culture of sustainability throughout National City that will
continue to attract green or “clean” businesses to the city and ultimately
result in a reduced carbon footprint for National City and a more healthy and
prosperous community overall.
